What is RSS?RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. RSS is an easy way for you to keep up with news and information published on websites. Instead of browsing or searching for information, you can get new content delivered directly to you. RSS (sometimes also known as "news feeds") allows you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest information in one place, as soon as it is published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from. RSS feeds are just web pages, designed to be read by RSS readers. What is an RSS Reader?An RSS reader (also called an aggregator) is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
